“The green fellowship program provided me with the opportunity to learn about the resources and networks available to construct and renovate buildings in ways that save money, and reduce the impact on the environment and our health”, said Thawq Abdel Haleem and Nadine Rishmawi upon their completion of the CHF International Engineering Fellowship initiative.

CHF International’s Engineering Fellows Program is an important component of the $ 100 million Local Government and Infrastructure (LGI) program being implemented in West Bank and Gaza with funding from USAID. CHF understands the importance of building the leaders of tomorrow and providing them with the opportunities to engage positively in building the future state of Palestine. This initiative meets the above aims by providing recent engineering graduates with the opportunity to gain practical on the job experience that allows them to translate theory into reality and gives them better leverage in the competitive job market.
