Inauguration of a Citizen Service Center and Multi-Purpose Hall in Al Yamun
The citizens of Al Yamun, in the Jenin governorate, celebrated the inauguration of the new Citizen Service Center and Multi-Purpose Hall which will serve the 20,000 residents of the town. The Citizen Service Center, a centralized location where citizens can access a variety of vital services and engage with their local municipality, is an important step for providing better services for the growing population of Al Yamun. The multi-purpose hall, which was built on 500 square meters, provides an excellent facility for the community to conduct various activities. In addition, the hall will provide an additional source of income for the municipality through rentals for private functions. Al Yamun Municipality partnered with Global Communities, under the USAID-funded Local Government and Infrastructure (LGI) Program, to establish these facilities in response priorities identified through community participation.
