GLOBAL COMMUNITIES/CHF International Mourns the Loss of its Staff member in Gaza:
“On behalf of the Global Communities/CHF International team in Palestine and the rest of the world, I extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of our colleague and brother Shadi Farwana. Shadi was killed in Khan Younis due to an attack on the residential neighborhood he took refuge at. Shadi was the Beneficiaries Coordinator for Khan Younis Area under our partnership with WFP on the Food Security Program.
Shadi served the humanitarian cause of helping the people of Gaza through our program for the past four years. He was known for his dedication to the humanitarian cause, his excellent relationship with all vulnerable beneficiaries we serve and his great sense of humor. Shadi was 35 years old, and leaves behind him his wife and three children.
We pray that God will bless his soul and give his family patience to deal with this tragic loss and his colleagues the resilience to continue our humanitarian service.
Our prayers are with all the innocent civilians who are paying the highest price for this ongoing tragic conflict. We hope all pressure will be exerted to stop this war and to allow the Palestinian people to live in dignity, freedom and safety.”
